HEALTH ROOM TRAINING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n August 25, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 8-12pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ensworth Elementary Library<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Topics that will be covered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n PLEASE ENCOURAGE YOUR STAFF WHO COVER THE HEALTH ROOM TO ATTEND THIS TRAINING.<\/mark> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n HMP UPLOAD PROCESS CHANGE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Uploading HMPs into Synergy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The uploading process has changed.<\/strong> STARTING AUGUST 31ST. <\/strong>– Please send any HMPs requiring uploading into Synergy to the Records Clerks. All you need to do is email the completed HMP to Bend-La Pine Records at bend-lapinerecords@bend.k12.or.us<\/a> via regular email (not BLSend or encryption)<\/em>. A records clerk will email you confirmation of HMP received and will upload into the SIS side (and SE side if needed). Nurses should not be uploading any HMPs into Synergy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n MEDICAID – SYNERGY UPDATES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Changes have been made in the Synergy health log area to enable automatic billing for Medicaid.<\/strong> (No more going into DSCtop.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n IPOCs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Please remember to develop an IPOC (individual plan of care) for each of your students who has ongoing care (ex. diabetes care, toileting, medication administration, safe feeding plan, seizures, tube feedings, etc)<\/em>. IPOCs do not need to be made for “one offs”such as a health room visit for headache, head injury, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Directions for how to make an IPOC can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
