Per Julie, we are currently not in the adoption process for this and would most likely begin next school year with a plan to implement in the 25-26 school year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was brought to my attention that the ESD has a new policy regarding the temporary accommodation form and process. Our legal department said that we can only loan equipment to kids who are on an IEP or 504. This will affect those students we have been talking about – Broken legs, casts etc.  So the process will need to change if we are to loan walkers for example. I remember working with MaryLou and she would always create a 504 for these type of students but the recent nurses don\u2019t know about this.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am attaching the wonderful video created by Nurse Molly (it\u2019s at the bottom of this email) that walks you thru how to run the <\/em>HLT 414 report<\/em><\/strong> to determine which students are not up to date.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also explains the <\/em>HLT 217 report<\/em><\/strong>. This report is optional and used only if you would like to send letters out to parents or students who are not up to date instead of calling or messaging them.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Run the HLT 414 report.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check the box for kindergarten students<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assessment date \u2013 11\/16\/23<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cutoff date \u2013 12\/31\/23<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exclusion date \u2013 11\/16\/23<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click Insufficient<\/u>, Incomplete<\/u> and No Record<\/u> when running report<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Print a copy of your report so you can use it to make notes on it such as when phone calls were made, mail sent and when students were updated.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

INCOMPLETE<\/u> Students<\/u>: Means they are not up to date. Check Alertiis for any new immunizations that you can update. Check that the CSI signature box has been checked. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

INSUFFICIENT<\/u> Students<\/u>: Always is a \u201cdata input error\u201d. The dates are in the wrong order, or the student\u2019s birth date is entered incorrectly.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fall MAC Survey will be during the week of November 6th, 2023. Your yearly MAC training has expired or will be expiring soon. Please complete the training by Friday, November 3, 2023<\/strong> at this MAC Training<\/a> Site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can stop and restart the training if you do not complete it all at one time. You may have activities that you perform as part of your job that are claimable for reimbursement on MAC Survey Day, and if not, just by being a part of our trained employee base, your salary and benefits contribute to our reimbursement dollars dedicated to FAN.<\/strong> It will take approximately 22 minutes to complete. Please be sure to click through to the very last slide. You will be sent an email verification that the training is complete. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
