Two new Advocates are in the process of being hired now.\u00a0 Please don\u2019t hesitate\u00a0to reach out if you have any questions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n IMMUNIZATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Immunization Exclusion Day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Immunization Exclusion Day for ALL students is Wednesday February 21, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Thank you everyone for your help in getting our students updated with their immunizations before Exclusion Day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Primary Review Day is January 17th<\/sup> and that is the day I send the initial reports to the Health Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Health Department will then send out letters to those families whose students are not up to date notifying them that they will be excluded from attending school on February 21st<\/sup> if they are not up to date by then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Immunization Exclusion Day for ALL students is Wednesday February 21, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Here are the dates to use for running your HLT 414 report<\/strong> to determine which students are not up to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Assessment date – 1\/17\/24<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Cutoff date – 12\/31\/23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Exclusion date – 2\/21\/24<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Click Insufficient<\/u>, Incomplete<\/u> and No Record<\/u> when running report<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Print a copy of your report so you can use it to make notes on it such as when phone calls were made, mail sent and when students were updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n INCOMPLETE Students<\/strong>: Means they are not up to date. Check Alertiis for any new immunizations that you can update. Check that the CIS signature box has been checked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n INSUFFICIENT Students<\/strong>: Always is a “data input error”. The dates are in the wrong order, or the student’s birth date is entered incorrectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n MEETINGS\/TRAININGS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Mandatory<\/u><\/strong> nurse staff \/meetings trainings on the following non-school days <\/p>\n\n\n\n Mandatory Training – January 17th<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The mandatory training for Raptor Student Safe Early Intervention that was canceled (due to the snow day) has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 17th<\/sup>, Bend Senior High Auditorium.\u00a0Nurses are required to attend.\u00a0Our regular nurse meeting is canceled for this month.\u00a0More information to come about the February 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0meeting\/training.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n What:<\/strong> Raptor Student Safe Early Intervention<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n When:<\/strong> January 17, 2024, 2:45-4:00 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n Where:<\/strong> Perseverance Hall, Bend High School<\/p>\n\n\n\n School counselors, school psychologists, school nurses, and student success coordinators will gather together for Educator Network Day at the Caldera Auditorium for the roll out of Raptor StudentSafe early intervention software. After an initial introduction to StudentSafe, participants will be working in school site teams for entry of their risk screens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Action needed: please bring suicide risk screens and a screen for NSSI (if you have one) as well as your charged computer<\/strong>.
