SIW this week –<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week you received an email inviting you to a\u00a0virtual (Webex) meeting<\/a>\u00a0with Dr. Doug Reeves regarding a\u00a0new district study on equitable grading practices<\/strong>. This will take place on\u00a0Wednesday, March 10, from 2:30 \u2013 4:00<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forecasting – <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A friendly reminder that Forecasting is starting this week, March 8-12 for current grades 9-11 (next year’s 10-12th grades).\u00a0 Students and parents are receiving an email with instructions on how to do this process, as well as the curriculum handbook and course offerings per grade level.\u00a0 All forecasting will be done virtually.\u00a0 Students with questions can meet with Scott or Kelsey via open office hours Monday through Friday from 9-11 am during their Asynchronous day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below, you will find the grade-level Course Offerings.\u00a0 Notice some classes have an *, which means students must get teacher approval to be in the course.\u00a0 Please talk with students about your classes to help give them a better sense of what to expect from the courses.\u00a0 The 21-22 Curriculum Handbook is too large to attach.\u00a0 We will get it uploaded to the website for your reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forecasting forms we are creating will have course descriptions embedded for when they make their selections, but we all know that talking with a person is better than reading a description.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be pulling Grade Guardian data on Tuesday so we can have in time for our 3\/10 SST meeting. Please have your grades as up to date as possible in Canvas by then end of the day Monday<\/strong>. All changes made by midnight on Monday (3\/8) will be reflected in our data analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
