The other three documents are intended to be tools for students, parents, staff and instructors to assist them in navigating COCC\u2019s High School Options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>COCC Expanded Options and College Now Staff will be at the High School PLC on September 29th to talk about their updated roles and systems of supports available to our students interested in those programs!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Consultation Group<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Come connect with your colleagues for support and collaboration around clinical issues that come up regarding your work with students.&nbsp; Facilitated by Lynne Herbert, LPC, this group will also touch on ethical issues, boundaries, self care, and best practices.&nbsp;&nbsp;Please <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSc60TCnY-lun41K8aC3atjebdPygCJwEWfkk3BkJs1o4iR3AQ\/viewform?usp=sf_link\">sign up here<\/a> if you are interested.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Drivers Education Credit Alignment<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you are aware, Bend &#8211; La Pine high school students can receive <strong>.5 Elective Credits<\/strong> when they successfully complete all program aspects of the High Desert Driving School Program.\u00a0 \u00a0The grade awarded for Driver\u2019s Ed is a proficiency grade and should be noted as a \u00a0<strong>\u201cP\u201d on their official high school transcript<\/strong>.\u00a0 Counselors, Curriculum Secretaries and Administrators will be reminded of grading policy to ensure that each high school is aligned moving forward.\u00a0 Students will still need to request that the credit be added to their transcript by submitting a copy of their HDDE course completion card and completing the \u201cApplication for Driver\u2019s Education Credit\u201d form that can be found in the counseling office.\u00a0<strong>Please make sure you have the <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/10lIU0J6cWULIMv9y6VXcR66_JxzMFV8u\/view?usp=sharing\">updated form<\/a> <\/strong>on your website and in your counseling office.
