Many of you have had parents request that their student be able to access their behavioral health tele-therapy appointments while at school. Myself, school administrators, legal counsel, and IT have developed a protocol to allow this to happen. Please read carefully and let me know if you have any questions. We also do not want it to be a barrier to accessing treatment but it is best practice to have an ROI when a student is asking services, especially on campus during the school day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Linked<\/a> are the updated Mental Health Resource sheets from they county. They are also in our drive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Our next MDT Quarterly Training is fast approaching! We are excited to announce our guest speaker, Al Killen-Harvey. Al will be presenting the Impact of Secondary Traumatic Stress<\/strong>. Al has worked for over 28 years as a practicing trauma treatment therapist, Clinical Improvement Coordinator, Reflective Supervisor, and trainer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The training will be on November 9th<\/sup> at 10:00am.<\/strong> This is a virtual training and is free for all MDT member agencies.
