- Master of School Counseling tuition-free and with a monthly stipend from OSU Cascades. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

- Informational Open House May 8th<\/sup> from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Registration Link<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Candidates must apply for admission to the School Counseling program by May 25, 2023<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- If accepted into the program, then candidates may apply (very short process) for entry into the PATH-SC cohort (grant funded tuition-free and monthly stipend)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Classes for this new cohort (both those in the PATH-SC cohort and those who are not) will begin in late June 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Anyone with a Bachelor’s Degree can apply for the PATH-SC cohort, regardless if they are currently working in the district or not.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- The focus of this grant (PATH-SC cohort) is to engage individuals who represent your community, represent an underserved and diverse population, and must be placed and willing to work in a high-needs school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\nPlease take a look at the latest Informed Consent and Group Counseling Permission forms. The ICCL team worked on creating an aligned process and our attorneys have vetted these forms, so it is the expectation that we are all using the same one. Here is a doc that outlines the Best Practices and links to the updated forms. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nRecommendations for Move Up\/Transition Programming at ES, MS, HS!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The Counseling ICCL team has identified a goal for the development of alignment with some basic universal agreements for identifying students that might need support as students transition to their next educational level.\u00a0 Additionally, we would like to develop a transition lesson for ES and MS counselors to deliver at ES (5th grade) and MS (8th grade).\u00a0 Eventually, we will get to a place where we have district alignments\/agreements, but this year we will provide counselors\/schools with recommendations\u00a0 to use with the idea that alignments will come for next year.\u00a0\u00a0Please see this document in our drive to help you plan for both data driven transition meetings for high risk students as well as a counselor led lesson on transition to the next level in their educational journey. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
