Post Pi Day

Yes, I am late for Pi Day, but I really want you to see what a couple of our libraries did for this fun day. Maybe it will spark an idea for you!

Pi Station at MVHS

On March 14th, both Mountain View and Caldera High had Pi stations of fun activities spread out in their library. MVHS had theirs during lunch and CHS had math classes come in throughout the day. Donna Layne said that she was able to get a Calculus class to man each station which enabled her to mingle among the students, take pictures, and help where needed. Heather Wolford created a passport for students to fill out as they went along. Both libraries had prizes and raffles for the students such as pi stickers, math pun bookmarks, pie, chips, t-shirt, etc. From what I hear, this will definitely be a repeat next year.

Below are the resources they’ve generously shared. Some of them are the same and some are different. You can mix and match!
