One of the perks of my job is getting to visit all of our great libraries. Each one is unique and offers so much to our students. Recently I was at La Pine Elementary where Dail Pautz, their Media Manager, created a fun event for her students. Instead of her reading a story to the students, she picked a student to be the “Celebrity Student” of the day. This entails the student getting to sit in the special chair reading to their class. What a great way to promote the love of reading!
