With over 250 people attending, it was great to see students, teachers, families, and community members having the opportunity to listen to, learn from, and talk with the authors. Dan Gemeinhart has a new book called The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise that is sooo good. We’ve got the ebook and audio book in Sora. Jason Reynolds also has a new book coming out in October. Matthew Cordell is working on a picture book about Mr. Rogers.

People are already asking when the next Youth Lit Fest is. Hopefully we won’t have to wait long.

Pictured left to right: Jaime Wong, Katherine Roy, Amber Keyser, Dan Gemeinhart, Fonda Lee, Matthew Cordell, Catherine Alene

Photos from Deschutes Public Library by Tina Davis

Last Saturday, the Deschutes Public Library put on a fantastic Youth Lit Fest with amazing authors – Caldecott winner Matthew Cordell, Dan Gemeinhart, Katherine Roy, Amber Keyser, Catherine Alene, Fonda Lee, Jason Reynolds (via Skype) and former publisher Jaime Wong. Continue reading Youth Lit Fest→

[33449,50378,50377

post-965","post","type-post","status-publish","format-gallery","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-elementary","category-high","category-middle","post_format-post-format-gallery
["GET
