Master Schedule: Our leadership team will be taking a look at some drafts on the 15th to provide input on the final master schedule for this year.
Highland Team Sign-Ups: Linked here are our Highland Teams. I placed people according to where they were last year and removed anyone who left (as best as I could remember), but that does not mean you must remain on the same teams. You all have editing rights so you are free to add/remove yourself to the desired team.
Nutrition Services Message:
Staffing continues to be an issue for us. We’re always open to referrals! Without full staff, not all of our services will be able to be reinstated but, as of right now, this is where we are:
- All meal service will go back to the way it was before Covid. We will return to free, reduced and paid status, and paid students will need to start paying for meals on Day 1. Please encourage people to apply for free or reduced-price meals early to avoid accruing charges. We will be sending notification postcards/letters to families regarding CEP (Community Eligibility Provision) schools and pricing at non-CEP schools.
- Free and reduced applications for non-CEP schools will go out to families. The forms are also available online. https://www.ode.state.or.us/apps/frlapp
- Oregon’s Student Success Act allows higher income limits for families. Many families may now qualify who were not eligible in the past.
- Meal Prices:
- Elementary: Breakfast $2.50; Lunch $3.50
- Secondary: Breakfast $2.75; Lunch $3.75
- Adults: Breakfast $3.25; Lunch $4.75
- Milk: $75
- BLPay will go back online September 4th (the Sunday before school starts). All kids who are in Synergy at that time will be uploaded to BLPay with their school assigned as of that date. There are still no fees for using BLPay.
