My intention was to celebrate a collective effort put into helping a dysregulated child get into a really positive place.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/brian.kissell\/files\/2022\/11\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1019\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/brian.kissell\/files\/2022\/11\/image.png 480w, https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/brian.kissell\/files\/2022\/11\/image-225x300.png 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day <\/strong>On November 14th, students can recognize and celebrate the legacy of <a href=\"https:\/\/rubybridges.foundation\/#walk-to-school-day\">Ruby Bridges <\/a>by walking to school on November 14th.&nbsp; Bear Creek and Juniper Elementary Families can meet at Juniper Park and walk to school with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commuteoptions.org\/RBWTSD\/\">Commute Options<\/a> to show support for social justice, equity, inclusion, and sustainability in BLS schools.
