{"id":396,"date":"2019-02-02T00:08:57","date_gmt":"2019-02-02T00:08:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/brian.kissell\/?p=396"},"modified":"2019-02-02T00:57:37","modified_gmt":"2019-02-02T00:57:37","slug":"2-4-19-2-8-19-weekly-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/brian.kissell\/2019\/02\/02\/2-4-19-2-8-19-weekly-update\/","title":{"rendered":"2\/4\/19-2\/8\/19 Weekly Update"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following quote from one of our 1st graders almost made me fall out of chair during a SafeTOUCH lesson this week;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou can trust a mom with kids, because moms are superheros.\u201d &#8211; AK<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So true!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tuesday Morning Meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Design Team Meetings this week.<\/li><li>Staff Meeting next week.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SIWs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Academic Excellence this week.Next week; <\/li><li>District Series &amp; Parent Information Session<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>BrainPOP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I believe BrainPOP is ready to go for you. &nbsp;You and your students can access it through Clever. &nbsp;I will look to build in some time for us to explore more, but if you are ready to start using it on your own, I wanted to get it set up ASAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brainpop.com\/\">https:\/\/www.brainpop.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Building Stuff<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hmmmm &#8211;<strong> <\/strong>I will keep it brief, so if you want more details please see me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The movable wall on the stage still needs some more attention, as it is not sealing properly. \u00a0If you ever need to open\/close this wall, please let me know.<\/li><li>KNCC (Alec) did the water test on the wall outside room 17 and he was able to reproduce the leak. \u00a0This is good news\u2026.sort of.
