Use both and overlook neither.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; <strong>Alan Cohen<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Kudos to Culminations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Almost there! &nbsp;Congrats to all of you and your students for another successful round of culminations. &nbsp;There was no shortage of hard work and thought put into these activities!  Thank you so much for all your hard work. &nbsp;I know we have a few more classes to go, but there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Last Assembly<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you, everyone, for the team-effort on that assembly this morning. &nbsp;That was a lot to cover and I really don\u2019t think we could have moved any faster and keep it fun for the kids. &nbsp;I know it got chatty during the transitions, but that is to be expected after sitting on the floor for so long, especially with the exciting things being presented.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Placements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you for all the work on the placements for next year. &nbsp;Please remember to keep it confidential just in case we have to do any movement prior to the start of the year.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Field Day &amp; Variety Day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking forward to a fun Field Day and Variety Show next week &#8211; thank you for your advance preparation!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Amity Team Visit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FYI &#8211; A small team from Amity will be visiting the campus next Thursday after school to take a look at our remodel. &nbsp;&nbsp;I\u2019ve already given Andy Slavin a tour of the campus and rooms to show what was done, so he will take them around to see what he wants them to see.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PE Outside<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FYI &#8211; Scott will be outside for PE on the following dates;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Tuesday 6\/11 after 1:15<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Teacher iPads<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have not already done so please turn in your iPads to Hannah by Friday 6\/14. &nbsp;&nbsp;I don\u2019t have any information about replacements (who, when, what, etc)  yet, but I will be sure to share as soon as I know.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Library and iPad Roll In<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">iPad roll in June 11th all day. &nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reminder to teachers before roll in<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li> Have student CLEAN the iPad<\/li><li>5th graders need to clean brick and cord, get their names off<\/li><li>Verify iOS is 12.2 or higher<\/li><li>Make sure iPad is charged<\/li><li>Erase all content and settings.<\/li><li>Make sure students have brick, cord and iPad on roll in day.<\/li><li>Be sure student has signed out of iCloud account and backed up info they want to save<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SIWs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>No SIW on Wednesday \/ SIW schedule on Friday 6\/14<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Great news &#8211; Next year we are reducing the district SIWs from 6 to 4. &nbsp;Gaining control of our time back is always a positive thing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Upcoming Field Trips &#8211; <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> 4\/5 Students to Sharc on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Howard &#8211; Field trip, St CharlesTuesday, June 11<strong>\u22c5<\/strong>9:15am \u2013 12:00pm\ue878<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.google.com\/calendar\/embed?src=gapps.bend.k12.or.us_hhk19vt49jka6j21og22ihnrng%40group.calendar.google.com&amp;ctz=America%2FLos_Angeles\">Calendar<\/a><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cThere is virtue in work and there is virtue in rest.
