I want to extend my appreciation to you and all your staff regarding Tuesday’s “LockOut” during school hours. As a retired law enforcement officer, I watched the whole thing go down from the “other side of the fence” (civilian) for the first time. I have an extensive background in how this all works on both law enforcement side and working with families during “crisis”. The way you and your team\/staff handled this was absolutely professional and flawless from the outsiders perspective. The text chain, to the way you all released the kids and follow up email with reassurance to all families that the children of Highland and their safety was always in complete control of a highly trained staff. We could not be more thankful and grateful for the dedication and commitment to excellence that you and your team continuously exhibit.
