Behavior tracking was a big part of our Culture of Care meeting on Wednesday. The FYI Slip\u2019s purpose is to gather behavior data and look at lagging skills (we used the <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1CzaOFHzYdlEjyyed3NifQWBE6JvkNF5F\/view?usp=sharing\">SEL Competencies)<\/a> It can be used in the classroom and throughout the school. What you also may have heard is that 20-30% of those who receive this second vaccination have side effects noticeable enough to keep them out of work for one or more days. Based on your responses about the timing of your 2nd doses we should only expect a few staff to potentially be out on Friday the 12th.\u00a0 If this happens then we will be covering these absences internally.<\/s>  Disregard.  (=<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Report Cards &amp; BLPO:<\/strong>&nbsp; You are not required to do report cards for students in Bend-La Pine On line.&nbsp; If you are curious about what was communicated to BLPO families click <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1JesevxG4Si1pgUnT2LfOTljOywV2WlSF\/view?usp=sharing\">here.<\/a>&nbsp; If you want some language to put on their report cards you can use the following;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>During Semester 1 of the 2020-21 school year _______ was enrolled in Bend- La Pine Online.&nbsp; In a brick and mortar school report cards are meant to provide feedback and guidance to the parents\/guardian. However, when enrolled in Bend-La Pine Online the learning coach or parent\/guardian is the person who is working in close contact with the student and witnessing daily progress. Therefore, there are no semester grades or end of the year report card issued. The learning coach or parent\/guardian may access the K12 progress screens or details on student achievement based on the number of lessons completed and the student\u2019s start and end dates. For additional help please contact your BLPO teacher. They will be able to answer questions concerning your student\u2019s progress.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>April Conferences:<\/strong> Reminder \u2192&nbsp; <strong>April 14 and 15<\/strong>.&nbsp; Conferences are Webex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Reminder: <\/strong>Please try to bring your class into the school between 7:50-7:55 to help with staggering classes into the building. Have no fear, I have a great resource for creating individual \u201cCalm Boxes\u201d. Please reach out to me if you have a student who could benefit from something like this. I am even able to teach a sample \u201cmini\u201d lesson.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CDC quarantine recommendations<\/strong> if your family has plans for either domestic or international travel in the months to come. Individuals who have traveled out of state (domestic or international) are <em>recommended<\/em> to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"http:\/\/track.spe.schoolmessenger.com\/f\/a\/FW2Qt3gzczuREhAr0nFbQQ~~\/AAAAAQA~\/RgRh7GQAP0RLaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuY2RjLmdvdi9jb3JvbmF2aXJ1cy8yMDE5LW5jb3YvdHJhdmVsZXJzL3Rlc3RpbmctYWlyLXRyYXZlbC5odG1sVwdzY2hvb2xtQgpgCIAwC2BNHPJrUh5qdWxpYW5uZS5yZXBtYW5AYmVuZC5rMTIub3IudXNYBAAAAAE~\">Get tested<\/a> 3-5 days after travel <strong>AND<\/strong> stay home for 7 days after travel.&nbsp;<ul><li>Even if you test negative, stay home for the full 7 days.<\/li><li>If your test is positive, <a href=\"http:\/\/track.spe.schoolmessenger.com\/f\/a\/z0mzimwcdnHkIW06_rEWMA~~\/AAAAAQA~\/RgRh7GQAP0RIaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuY2RjLmdvdi9jb3JvbmF2aXJ1cy8yMDE5LW5jb3YvaWYteW91LWFyZS1zaWNrL2lzb2xhdGlvbi5odG1sVwdzY2hvb2xtQgpgCIAwC2BNHPJrUh5qdWxpYW5uZS5yZXBtYW5AYmVuZC5rMTIub3IudXNYBAAAAAE~\">isolate<\/a> yourself to protect others from getting infected.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>If you don\u2019t get tested, it\u2019s safest to stay home for 10 days after travel.<\/li><li>Avoid being around people who are at <a href=\"http:\/\/track.spe.schoolmessenger.com\/f\/a\/EvP7gbNeRD_kulmKYiI4TQ~~\/AAAAAQA~\/RgRh7GQAP0RLaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuY2RjLmdvdi9jb3JvbmF2aXJ1cy8yMDE5LW5jb3YvbmVlZC1leHRyYS1wcmVjYXV0aW9ucy9pbmRleC5odG1sVwdzY2hvb2xtQgpgCIAwC2BNHPJrUh5qdWxpYW5uZS5yZXBtYW5AYmVuZC5rMTIub3IudXNYBAAAAAE~\">increased risk for severe illness<\/a> for 14 days, whether you get tested or not.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, take these actions for 14 days after you return from travel to protect others from getting COVID-19:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"http:\/\/track.spe.schoolmessenger.com\/f\/a\/Zrl8sdcAr-wHWZDUeuXivg~~\/AAAAAQA~\/RgRh7GQAP0RVaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuY2RjLmdvdi9jb3JvbmF2aXJ1cy8yMDE5LW5jb3YvcHJldmVudC1nZXR0aW5nLXNpY2svc29jaWFsLWRpc3RhbmNpbmcuaHRtbFcHc2Nob29sbUIKYAiAMAtgTRzya1IeanVsaWFubmUucmVwbWFuQGJlbmQuazEyLm9yLnVzWAQAAAAB\">Stay at least 6 feet\/2 meters<\/a> (about 2 arm lengths) from anyone who did not travel with you, particularly in crowded areas.
