What a gift it is to be among caring and thoughtful people committed to the work of education and to growth of children. You can use these four questions to help you gather data and guide your data review and discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the area of reading:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Decision Rules: Which students are not making adequate progress based on DIBELS progress monitoring during the last 32-34 sessions of instruction? Additional Data Points observed?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What barrier\/problem area is most important to focus on in order for this student to progress toward the decision rule measurement?&nbsp; i.e. decoding, blending, fluency, comprehension<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is there a trend? Looking for trends will be a focus vs. individual student problem solving. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What changes to ICE can we make?\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Instruction- Can we alter\/focus targeted instruction on skill development? <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Curriculum- Are we spending the right amount of time using the correct tools? <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Environment- Do we need to intensify a group (reduce size,  increase repetition and practice) ?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Youth Truth Updates<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ytsurvey.org\/bucstaff24\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"ytsurvey.org\/bucstaff24\">Youth Truth Staff Survey<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please complete the survey this Tuesday or Wednesday. Classified Team, we are designating 1:30-2:00 as paid time for you to complete the survey which should only take 15 minutes. We want to be sure we get 100% staff participation this year! We will make ours up on Wednesday (as that was a day Marci could be here to support). We look forward to sharing this time and learning about shifts in math standards.
