Thanks to Bridget for keeping up on this and making sure these students get a fantastic book to call their own.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">PLC document-<\/span><\/strong> One more thanks to the PLC team for their work on our SIW. Please let us know if your team needs any help completing the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1Yg-8qAsIac7o_4bivnFgsTTT3Q6JpwNfZccs57nSERA\/edit?usp=sharing\">template<\/a> during your twice monthly meetings. As you will recall, the first question for PLC&#8217;s is, &#8220;What do we want students to learn?&#8221; This question is really asking about a learning target, a learning goal, and objective&#8230; whatever you want to call it. The importance of learning targets can&#8217;t be overstated. Hard for anyone to learn something if they don&#8217;t know what they are learning. Learning targets should be clearly communicated to students throughout a lesson. Students should know what the target is. As such, Jon and I will be looking for learning targets when we do mini observations and will include questions about learning targets during our post conferences.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>SLGG&#8217;s and Eval&#8217;s-<\/strong><\/span> We thought it important to link one more time information about <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1CFnayO7w_eyex9PAJ1Lxxzl4OLat0L08\/edit?usp=sharing&amp;ouid=109584388190786716393&amp;rtpof=true&amp;sd=true\">slgg&#8217;s <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1NXjGKb8IBIc0Ph3fwey2zCNGyiEpTNIm\/edit?usp=sharing&amp;ouid=109584388190786716393&amp;rtpof=true&amp;sd=true\">eval.&#8217;s<\/a> that was reviewed at our staff meeting Tuesday. Please let us know if you have any questions.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>College Day-<\/strong><\/span> Next Friday is college day. Sport the gear of your favorite college or your alma mater. We still do not have word on whether or not &#8216;oregon state&#8217; gear counts as a college.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>ILLNESS REPORTING-<\/strong><\/span> All district staff are required to report illness to their supervisor, particularly COVID-19 primary symptoms, exposure, a positive test result, or a directive to quarantine or isolate.
