Hope to see you there with your 6th grade students!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em><strong>NO SCHOOL<\/strong><\/em> this\u00a0<strong>Friday<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Oct 11th.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">In <strong>language arts<\/strong> this week we&#8217;re continuing morph spelling and continuing to read our Jerry Spinelli novels. We&#8217;re also working on identifying and using nouns and verbs properly. Homework this week will continue to have students practicing identifying nouns and verbs correctly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">In <strong>social studies<\/strong> we investigated cave painting as a form of communication last week, and will continue to study the lives of early humans from the stone age. We&#8217;ll be wrapping that up and moving onto Mesopotamia soon!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Don&#8217;t forget that <strong>Parent Vue<\/strong> (your way to check your child&#8217;s grades) is now up and running!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Remember, drop in conferences this week!
