Hello everyone ~ Well…I waited until the presidential debate was over to post my WW and now I am NOT\u00a0in a good\u00a0mood. \u00a0So this might be one of my shorter WW’s! \u00a0I know what you’re thinking…maybe I should watch more debates if it results in a shorter WW! \u00a0Ha.<\/p>\n
Anyway, I want to follow up with our Summative Evaluation conversation and let you all know that we will be doing Summative’s on K-2 and some specialists. \u00a0Next year, we will do 3-5 and the other specialists. \u00a0Everyone still has 6 mini-observations and a few formals for those probationary and temporary teachers. \u00a0I was finally able to get into a few classrooms last week and it was AWESOME! \u00a0I love getting into classes and observing\u00a0the great instruction and learning going on.<\/p>\n
Our Thriving Citizen<\/strong> team met last Thursday and I was fortunate enough to sit in on it. \u00a0I heard great discussion of our Thriving Citizen goals, upstream indicators and professional development. \u00a0Thanks to everyone on that team for your participation and effort. \u00a0Our Academic Excellence<\/strong> team is meeting this Thursday in the conference room at 8. \u00a0If you signed up for this team last year, please join us.<\/p>\n The SIW for this week is a District Training. \u00a0Please click here<\/a>\u00a0to sign up and view the offerings. \u00a0My recommendation is to go as a team. \u00a0I know this is not always feasible. \u00a0If you cannot make it as a team, please share in your next grade-level team meeting.<\/p>\n PTO and Site Council @ 3:45 in the library tomorrow. \u00a0Also, movie night is this Friday.
