The lessons are interactive and adapt to each student, providing a personalized learning experience. Students are encouraged to work on DreamBox for 50-80 minutes a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you log into DreamBox, look for this symbol <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-21\" style=\"width: 60px\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/elementary-curriculum-instruction\/files\/2021\/08\/Screen-Shot-2021-09-01-at-8.07.10-PM.png\" alt=\"\"> in the bottom right hand corner for quick links, including DreamBox guides, courses, announcements, support articles and live webinars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DreamBox Support<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/instructionaltechnology\/dreambox-math\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bend-La Pine Tools: DreamBox&nbsp;<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/support.dreambox.com\/s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DreamBox Help Center<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Students: How To Get Started<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/presentation\/d\/1ITrlAq8z2bCHLi-VjQjDyP3RjJNFT_MJj-PRI0L7GKM\/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\">Students access DreamBox using Clever&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students must download DreamBox from Self Service&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students will log into DreamBox using Clever<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The DreamBox app must stay on students\u2019 iPads, but they never open it&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DreamBox is always accessed through Clever<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is DreamBox too difficult or easy?  Try this:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Teachers can assign a review (or advanced)&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/support.dreambox.com\/s\/article\/AssignFocus-How-to-Create-Assignments-School-Teachers-and-Administrators\" target=\"_blank\">assignment<\/a>&nbsp;that seems more appropriate. Tell the student to do the \u201ccalendar\u201d assignments first. DreamBox will readjust if the content was truly too difficult (or easy) for them. You can repeat the process with other standards as well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have exhausted review assignments and the content is too difficult (or easy), you can call, 1-877-451-7845 to reset the student. The student will LOSE everything they have done, all the data, awards, EVERYTHING! So make sure the student and parents know this is what is happening. And you have tried the first option listed above. This should really be done with only a student who you think had outside help.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once the student has been reset, they will experience LaunchPad again. Make sure they do not get help on LaunchPad or on DreamBox lessons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Please do not change the grade level.<\/strong>  That does not change what the student is learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Are caregivers asking for students to use DreamBox at home?  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is a <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1eeruQQgWhLncr540cuJCfeNWtsaXC8dL\/view?usp=sharing\">guidance document <\/a>to share electronically.  Make sure the caregiver knows not to help the student with DreamBox activities.
