Early Literacy Celebration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We have been focusing heavily on the importance of both accuracy and fluency during our reading sessions. The impact of this focus was recently highlighted during a partner-reading exercise. After completing their practice sentences, one student remarked to her partner, ‘OK, we\u2019re accurate, now we need to read for fluency.’ It is incredibly rewarding to see students not only mastering these concepts but also taking such intentional ownership of their learning!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
