On the day of the event please take your class  to the south playground in time for the walk, find a place by the fence, and when the students walk by (the Seniors will walk by on the outside of the fence, 5th grade will walk the Running Club path) cheer them on. Gordon secures the gates each night and we need to make sure they are locked for the start of the student day.  These gates are unlocked at the end of the day, so feel free to leave through them. Thank you! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From <strong>Julie Walker: <\/strong> <strong>All K-5 teachers are required to take \u201cReimagining Foundational Skills&#8221; before the 22-23 school year begins<\/strong> as day 189.\u00a0 Day 189 is a district directed professional development day.  Please remember to sign up in Performance Matters (<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1GIQ46sfAlTqKiuuMArvWCucE-3DqpLJS\/view?usp=sharing\">video showing how<\/a>) so we can plan for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dates below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>June 22 (K-2)<\/li><li>June 23rd (3-5)<\/li><li>August 24th (K-2 and 3-5)\u00a0 This will be a part of the Innovative Conference\u00a0<\/li><li>August 30th (K-2 and 3-5) <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teachers can also choose to participate in a two-day, <strong>Camp Foundations<\/strong> for Reimagining Foundation Skills  (2 day training, must attend both days) on August 9-10 OR August 15-16th, both dates are K-2 and 3-5.  The &#8220;Camp&#8221; will include observation of summer school students learning the new foundational skills curriculum and satisfies the foundational skills training requirement.
