I hope your week has been great! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/gary.defrang\/files\/2019\/01\/IMG_1948-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-413\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the number of language impoverished students we serve at Lava Ridge, I have asked Carole to share strategies and ideas with me on how we can best make sure we are meeting the learning needs of these students.  Here is Carole&#8217;s tip of the week!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Content objectives are clearly defined, displayed and reviewed<\/strong>.  In effective instruction, concrete content objectives that identify  what students should know and be able to do guide teaching and learning.\u00a0 Using student friendly language helps students to understand what  they will be learning.
