{"id":5185,"date":"2024-09-27T20:33:10","date_gmt":"2024-09-27T20:33:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/gary.defrang\/?p=5185"},"modified":"2024-09-27T20:33:10","modified_gmt":"2024-09-27T20:33:10","slug":"september-27-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/gary.defrang\/2024\/09\/27\/september-27-2\/","title":{"rendered":"September 27"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Happenings Next Week at Lava Ridge:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tuesday:\u00a0 Lockdown Drill @ 9:00;\u00a0 First day of Running Club (PTO has volunteers for every Tuesday throughout October)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wednesday:&nbsp; SIW: Skill Development Preparation Activity @ 1:45 in the Media Center<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thursday:\u00a0 Staff Appreciation Breakfast @ 7:00 in the Media Center;\u00a0 5<sup>th<\/sup> MTSS in C5 (Eagle\u2019s Nest) ; PTO Meeting @ 2:30 in the Media Center<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/presentation\/d\/1KtdbJARqKyU9QlEfIljthlFeXR4f91cg27hNnuP5cA8\/edit#slide=id.p\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/presentation\/d\/1KtdbJARqKyU9QlEfIljthlFeXR4f91cg27hNnuP5cA8\/edit#slide=id.p\">lockdown lesson<\/a> to review with students in preparation for the drill on Tuesday.  We are planning to announce the begining of this drill over the intercom and will be joined by Keely Cashman (SRO), Scott Bojanowski (Safety Department) and Kayla Martin (Safety Department) who will be on site to provide feedback. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thursday is our first <strong>PTO meeting<\/strong> of the year.  This year the PTO is planning for each grade level (unless that grade has MTSS) to share a 1-2 minute report of the highlights taking place at that grade during the meeting.  PTO is planning to have 3 meetings this year and we will not have PLCs on these dates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wondering what happened at other <strong>Lava Team<\/strong> meetings yesterday?  You can find all of the notes in <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/1pwFihZz5-8_Ts2cWVtNcJaxeNkuQgHq3\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/1pwFihZz5-8_Ts2cWVtNcJaxeNkuQgHq3\">this folder.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let&#8217;s work together on Thursday morning so everyone is able to get breakfast (I suggest the omelettes!) in the Media Center before school.
