Let me know if you are interested and I will provide a grant application (very simple).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>FAN-<\/strong><\/span> FAN update from Dana-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Boundary changes and changes in school\/district\u00a0demographics will potential impact staffing. \u00a0I&#8217;ll contact site administrators prior to any information being shared with Advocates. \u00a0I&#8217;ll do my best to make a few changes as possible.<\/li>\n<li>If your school is considering a fund raiser that will benefit FAN, please give me a call first. \u00a0Ensuring that we follow Board Policy and Business Office protocols will help get the funds to the right place and not cause any further work for staff.<\/li>\n<li>As we approach evaluation time, I&#8217;ll be in touch if your FAN Advocate is due for an evaluation. \u00a0I love having input from site administrators when completing the evals. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>As always, if you need anything FAN related, please don&#8217;t hesitate to call or email. \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Student Shadowing-\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span> From Lora- First of all, I want to thank all of you who took the time to shadow a student. While I know everyone is busy, I believe the opportunity to see the world of school through a student\u2019s eye makes us all better leaders. I encourage all of us to make this a part of our routine once or twice a year! And now for the news you\u2019ve all been waiting for\u2026the WINNING horizontal team: our elementary team, with 58.6% of administrators participating! Middle school was close behind, with 58.3% (and yes, Eric Powell, I included you in the middle school count J). High school had a 50% participation rate.\u00a0 Elementary leaders, I know you have a casual gathering on Thursday, February 21<sup>st<\/sup>. Although I can\u2019t join you, drinks are on me! I will make sure either Dana or Gary has my credit card\u2026<\/p>\n<p>So, if I have Lora&#8217;s credit card I won&#8217;t be at the happy hour&#8230;Dana is the safer bet for Lora.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">School<\/span><\/strong> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Visit-<\/strong><\/span> Please <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/10O5hwgp36q4kai1pMtDl9LwDPFi1XMwEf--E58gKBzg\/edit?usp=sharing\">schedule a time<\/a> for my next visit. We will do a mid-year slgg review and I&#8217;d like to visit a few classrooms and maybe even see some of your SDP in action.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Helmet Assemblies<\/strong><\/span>&#8211; Be sure to sign up for <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1pT6M1HfaXFUHVMRcfExzSC8z0tsqR4ZU3yTYdF8zYq0\/edit?usp=sharing\">The Center&#8217;s helmet assembly<\/a> if you haven&#8217;t already. It looks like we still have 4 schools that need to schedule.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Immunizations-<\/strong><\/span> There has been some confusion around immunizations, homelessness, and registering students. Tami Pike developed <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1bDp1gNtrr3ptk0V0m-3l48EgzzUedbXs\/view?usp=sharing\">this flow chart<\/a> to help. One important piece is that if you think a student is homeless, please contact Mara in order to verify.\u00a0 Please let me know if you have any questions.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s all for now.
