The Importance of Celebrating<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important Notes:<\/strong>
Skate Day: Hours 9-11:30
Staff are encouraged to dress in their favorite SPORTS Gear!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday Events BEND: <\/strong>

Middle and High school staff<\/strong>: As soon as students are released, pick an action you want to do. 1) Make your sign for the march. 2) Go to your nearest major street and hold your signs high. 3) Go to a nearby elementary school and hand out flyers to parents as they pick up their students. 4) Contact our local Senator and ask him to support appropriately funded education.  Doesn’t matter what you do, just do something!!!
Elementary staff<\/strong>: As soon as students are released, make your way to one of the march starting points.
2:30- All staff gather at one of the march starting points. They are at Bend High, Highland Elementary and the northwest parking lot in the Old Mill District. Please carpool as parking may be tight. We will be marching in from these points to the district office.

3:15- Speakers begin at the district office
3:45- March begins through downtown Bend
4:30- Event concludes

LA PINE: <\/strong>

Elementary staff<\/strong>: Rosland staff, as soon as students are released, make your way to the LPE playground. LPE staff will have a little extra time so you may want to join the middle and high schools to do an action.

Three Rivers<\/strong>– You are welcome to join either event.

2:45- Staff will march down HWY 97 to the Chamber of Commerce
3:45- Speakers begin
4:30- Event concludes
Staff with work locations outside of school are encouraged to participate in any, or all, of the events taking place prior to catching up at the central march locations in Bend and La Pine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
