Message from Shay related to questions about our role in ensuring ALL of our students are safe<\/strong>: He writes, \u201cAs Bend-La Pine Schools\u2019 staff, we are committed to doing everything in our lawful power to protect our students\u2019 confidential information and ensure that our students\u2019 learning environments are not disrupted by immigration enforcement activity.\u201d In his email this week, Shay attached this informational FAQ<\/a> that clearly explains our role in serving all students. Please read it!

Suicide Prevention Week<\/strong> this year is Sept. 7 \u2013 14 and there are a number of activities happening locally<\/a> (including at some of our schools) that you might want to be aware of and\/or share with larger community, as appropriate!
