We typically have words of the month established before the middle of the month, but not this month. This month, the word of the month is Community<\/strong>! We use the word of the month to build character education lessons, SEL lessons, and other connections throughout the program. The program identifies the classroom efforts and awards the teacher\/school the funding plus they do a news story that airs on KTVZ to provide a spotlight on the good things that are happening in education.
