A couple of weeks ago my team and I attended Integrated Portland 2016<\/a>. \u00a0If you ever have the opportunity, you really should try to attend this conference<\/a>. Each time I’ve gone, I’ve come away with new knowledge, ideas, inspiration, and connections. This year I went to a designing session with Kelly Kermode. I wish I could just follow this lady around so that I could learn all that she knows. At the end of the session, she mentioned Adobe Slate<\/a> being a great option for newsletters. Basically, you add text to your photos, select the design to customize and then share it via email or as a link on your school website. When you’re finished, you have an appealing newsletter, in a magazine style layout, that is begging to be read. It definitely is worth trying out. It can also be a great tool for designing an invitation, report, or announcement. Be creative!<\/p>\n

Besides being a website, it also an iPad app<\/a>. It is rated 12+ and therefore only available to staff and high school students.<\/p>\n
