\nGetting feedback from our students and staff is important in our profession and there are so many tools out there that can help. We use Socrative, Kahoot, Padlet, or Google Forms just to name a few.\u00a0Answer Garden<\/a> is a great one worth mentioning simply for how simple and easy it is to use. You don’t even need a login. Use it to brainstorm, establish previous knowledge, break the ice, or to take a poll. Basically you want to ask a question that requires a one word answer or close to it. Here are some examples<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Name an adjective
\nWhat are the characteristics of an insect?
\nWhat’s your favorite hobby?
\nWhat is your superpower?
\nWhat’s your favorite book?<\/p>\n

All you have to do is:<\/p>\n

  1. Create a new Answer Garden<\/a> by submitting a question or statement – Just click on the + at the top of the screen of Answer Garden<\/a> or click here<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Share the empty Garden by giving out the link<\/li>\n
  3. Responders share answers and see the Answer Garden grow.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
