This only shares the item. Often we would like our students to make a copy so that it will reside in their Google Drive. This can be done by going up to File&gt;Make a Copy or you can do it through Google Classroom. However, there is another easy way. Just go to the URL at the top &#8211; notice where it says &#8220;edit&#8221; near the end? All you have to do is replace edit with copy. Share the new URL with the students.
