These homes have been categorized on a street continuum from poor on the far left to rich on the far right, making\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 15px;font-weight: 300\">it super easy to compare homes based on income. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3829\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/instructionaltechnology\/files\/2018\/01\/Screen-Shot-2018-01-24-at-11.45.47-AM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2462\" height=\"154\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 15px;font-weight: 300\">What fascinated me was when she asked students in Sweden, where they think they fall on this type of continuum and they\u00a0pointed to the middle, when in actuality they fell more to the far right. I think many of us and our students here in the US would do the same. This site is a great place to see how others live around<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 15px;font-weight: 300\">\u00a0the world. It could lead to great discussions and inferences as to how income impacts and affects how we live.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you have a few extra minutes, take the opportunity to watch her Ted Talk. It will give you some ideas on how to use the site.
