All students can access their Clever account from a personal device following a few simple steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"231\" height=\"218\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/instructionaltechnology\/files\/2023\/04\/download.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6887 size-full\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/clever.com\/in\/bls \">https:\/\/clever.com\/in\/bls <\/a>from any internet browser<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select &#8220;Log in with Active Directory&#8221;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Username &#8211; student&#8217;s first and last name, no spaces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Password &#8211; the special 6-digit code that is used for all of their district log-ins (you may need to reach out to your classroom teacher)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They are in! From here, students can access Lexia Core5, DreamBox, Newsela, Sora, and more!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few notes about Lexia Core5 from home<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lexia Core5 will NOT work on a small device or smartphone. They do not make the app available for these devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If families are using a mobile device (tablet\/iPad) they will need to install the free\u00a0Lexia\u00a0Core5 app in order for\u00a0Lexia\u00a0to work, even when they access\u00a0Lexia\u00a0from inside\u00a0Clever<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If students are using a computer or laptop, they won&#8217;t need to install a\u00a0Lexia\u00a0app. They can log into\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/clever.com\/in\/bls\" target=\"_blank\">Clever<\/a>, and then select the\u00a0Lexia\u00a0Core5 icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It&#8217;s great to remind families to not assist when students are working on&nbsp;Lexia&nbsp;Core5 (or DreamBox) programs away&nbsp;from&nbsp;school.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Want to send information home to families? <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1hgKTvrIa_w8Y0CatISVFMc56uTfXS_bC482_xIBivdA\/edit?usp=sharing\">Here&#8217;s a sample letter that you are welcome to use!<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With student conferences over and summer just over the horizon, many families are wondering about supporting their child at home.
