Students are venturing out to collect watershed (8th gr) and forest (7th gr) related data, meeting with local scientists and experts, and generally doing some very high level applied ecology work! All the while, they are building a strong &#8220;sense of place&#8221; and ethic of stewardship through writing and art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>This is how learning Your support makes a huge difference in our ability to offer\u00a0these kinds of rich fieldwork experiences.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-background wp-block-heading\" style=\"background-color:#78cfee\"><strong>Midterm Progress Reports &amp; Checking Grades!<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Parents can check their student&#8217;s grades at ANY TIME using <a href=\"https:\/\/pv.bend.k12.or.us\/PXP2_Login_Parent.aspx?regenerateSessionId=True\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ParentVue<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>At RMS, ParentVue is the GO TO place for students and their parents\/guardians to see academic grading information.<\/strong> Canvas is the workflow tool for students but NOT the gradebook. This is <strong><em>different<\/em><\/strong> than other schools in our District who are using Canvas as the default gradebook!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">For all middle school students, we strongly encourage students to visit ParentVue every week or two for a quick check! The transition to high school isn&#8217;t always easy, and it takes ALL OF US to stay on top of any &#8220;slips&#8221; as early as possible!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">If you have not yet been on ParentVue, we strongly encourage you to go there ASAP! You can view your student&#8217;s attendance data, their grades and assignments and MUCH MORE!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If you need help<\/strong> accessing your ParentVue account, start here on this help page.
