Grading Day &#8211; End of Tri 1 <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-background wp-block-heading\" style=\"background-color:#78cfee\"><strong>Conferences: 6th &#8211; 12 Grade<\/strong>. <strong>Get Signed Up ASAP!<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conferences are an incredibly valuable opportunity to help students become leaders of their own learning and to build strong school-family partnerships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#c90000\"><strong>We aim for 100% participation in grades 6-10 where conferences take the form of a <em>student led<\/em> exploration of learning, growth and next steps.<\/strong> Each student prepares for this conference by reflecting on their strengths and areas for growth in each of their classes and gathering evidence of their learning to share with you. See high school example video below from EL Education and middle school example video from Realms MS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#b90000\">Student Led Conferences take place (for the most part) in the student&#8217;s Crew room with their Crew leader. However, you should have received an invitation to sign up directly from your Crew or Support Staff facilitator<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#00509b\"><strong>Juniors and Seniors (and their parent\/guardian) are invited to come in for a <em>goal setting conference <\/em>on a case by case basis.<\/strong> With our Juniors and Seniors, we are prioritizing invitations for students who we are targeting for extra support!
