Pie Grams are happening the week of November 13th – 17th! Send your child a delicious slice of pumpkin pie to be delivered to them during Crew on November 17th. Parents and guardians who would like to purchase a Pie Gram to send to their child will need to fill out an order form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iPADS – Charged EVERY DAY!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Parents – PLEASE HELP! We are seeing an increase in the number of students who are either forgetting to bring their iPad to school OR who are bringing an UNCHARGED iPad top school… NEITHER is a good set up for learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PLEASE HELP YOUR STUDENT BRING A FULLY CHARGED IPAD EVERY DAY TO SCHOOL!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interesting fact… <\/strong>we do notice that students who have forgotten to charge their iPads often have a fully charged phone!! If you can remember to charge your phone, then you can remember to charge your iPad!!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a treat to have a few minutes during the long day to eat, talk together, and share stories. As you can imagine, mostly we talked about highlights from conferences!! \nBIG UPS to Caleb Campbell (fieldwork coordinator) and all of the MS and HS teachers who helped us have TONS of amazing fieldwork this trimester!<\/strong> Fieldwork is a cornerstone of our program, AND it takes a LOT of extra planning and work to pull it off. MightyCause Fundraiser to Replace Wreath Sale: Campaign To Launch Early December!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Fieldwork is one of the powerful structures we use at Realms MS and HS to bring academic standards to life, to challenge students to apply their classroom learning to real world problems, and to build the character students will need to be successful in and outside of school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year, Friends of Realms is replacing the annual wreath and tree sale with a new “peer to peer” fundraiser through a platform called Mightycause<\/em><\/strong> in which each Realms MS and HS student will create a personalized webpage with a “fieldwork story” of their own. Our hope is that our parents can support their students in getting this page out to friends, family members and contacts who can make donations in support of fieldwork and intensives at Realms! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will launch our Mightycause Peer to Peer Campaign the week after Thanksgiving Break. Stay tuned!!<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
In 45 school days so far this year we have had over 50 different fieldwork outings in which students venture into the community to deepen their learning through experience, interaction with experts, data collection, application of skills, and adventure!<\/em><\/strong> That means that on average, we have had at least<\/em><\/strong> one class, grade, or group of students in the field every day of the year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
