class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Doors open at <strong>9:15AM <\/strong>(and not before unless you have a teacher appointment)<\/li><li>1st Period begins at <strong>9:30AM<\/strong><\/li><li>Lunch is from <strong>12:35PM &#8211; 1:05<\/strong>PM<\/li><li>Day ends at <strong>3:20PM<\/strong><\/li><li>After school clubs begin at <strong>3:30PM<\/strong><\/li><li>View daily schedule below or <a class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WHICH DOORS DO I USE?<\/strong> All RHS students who arrive between 9:15AM and 9:35AM will enter through the &#8220;RHS DOORS&#8221; on the SOUTHEAST corner of the building. At 9:35AM, the east doors will be locked and from 9:35 onwards will remain locked. Students arriving after 9:35 will need to enter through the &#8220;Brinson Main Office&#8221; doors on the SOUTHWEST corner of the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/jennifer.scalley\/files\/2021\/02\/Hybrid-Schedule-no-header-1024x745.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-515\" width=\"650\" height=\"471\" \/><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1VQiP1xC1hHmKL9VeKfqbzFpNcogX5ibw\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1VQiP1xC1hHmKL9VeKfqbzFpNcogX5ibw\/view?usp=sharing<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>COHORT A or B?:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Monday we start with our A cohort (last name alpha group A-K); Tuesday we will see the B cohort (last name alpha group L-Z).&nbsp; We finalized a <strong><em>limited<\/em><\/strong> number of cohort switches as requested by students\/parents with transportation or work related scheduling issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR COHORT<\/strong> by logging into <strong>StudentVue<\/strong> and clicking on the <strong>Student Info tab<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;It is extremely important that students only attend classes with their cohort.&nbsp; Distance requirements in classrooms are strict and we have limited classroom desks and tables to the maximum allowable attendance given the size of the classroom.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WHAT TO BRING EACH DAY?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><em><span style=\"color:#a30003\" class=\"has-inline-color\">your fully charged iPad must come to school EVERY DAY!!<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/li><li><strong>labelled water bottle <\/strong>&#8211; our water fountains are closed but our bottle filling stations are open<\/li><li><strong>earbuds <\/strong>&#8211; there will be times students need to access media privately<\/li><li>pencil(s), pen(s), highlighter(s)<\/li><li>notebook\/sketchbook depending on class requirements<\/li><li>snack\/lunch if needed<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cell phones are NOT ALLOWED in class per RHS policy.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Keep phones off and away during class. <\/li><li>A teacher may, at times, allow students to listen to music during class &#8211; ON iPad but not phone! (Spotify is in Self Service).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WHAT ABOUT THE ASYNCHRONOUS DAYS?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clearly this Hybrid schedule is just that, <em><strong>a hybrid of on site and at home learning<\/strong><\/em>. During their on site days, students will engage in new instruction and interactive learning that will include a review the upcoming &#8220;asynchronous assignment(s)&#8221; to be completed prior to their next on site day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students can expect to be assigned approximately 1.5 &#8211; 2 hours worth of &#8220;homework&#8221; per class that will be due <strong><em>the following on site day<\/em><\/strong>. So, for example&#8230;. Cohort A students, who attend school on Monday, will have assignments for all 4 of their academic classes that need to be completed on Tuesday\/Wednesday and turned in before their next in person class on Thursday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>All assignments and resources will be posted in Canvas.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>EXTRA SUPPORT ON WEDNESDAYS<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students should plan to attend AT LEAST ONE (or more) of the scheduled <strong>Teacher Office Hours<\/strong> on Wednesdays. These Office Hours are critically important time for students to get extra support, ask questions, and even find peers to work with. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>LIPI (Limited In Person Instruction) is on hold until Wednesday March 3rd<\/strong> due to the fact that our transportation is not able to guarantee bussing until March 3rd. So, NO ON SITE classes on Friday Feb 12th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"color:#a30003\" class=\"has-inline-color\">We will be holding a WebEx-based PROFICIENCY DAY designed for students to get support over WebEx on CATCHING UP on any missing work prior to midterm reports being published!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Details of WebEx support schedules will be sent out by teachers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MIDTERM PROGRESS REPORTS<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>BY 2\/16\/21<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Believe it or not we are halfway through the trimester 2 already. There are just 6 instructional weeks left between now and Spring Break which is the end of the trimester!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teachers will be emailing home &#8220;midterm progress reports&#8221; between Friday Feb 12th and morning of Tuesday Feb 16th.
