folder in TRIBE if you need to refer to it at a later date. \u00a0Please review this and let me know what\/if you have questions. \u00a0This is for principals only. \u00a0Please note the May 6 deadline.<\/li>\n<li>Dylan Wiliam is an educational expert in the area of assessment. \u00a0If you have ever heard him speak or read any of his material I would encourage you to do so. \u00a0To wet your appetite here is an article that he wrote entitled &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/a\/gapps.bend.k12.or.us\/file\/d\/0BwH82Aoi_UKTRFpoQXBTNmVKbm8\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\">Feedback That Makes a Difference to Students<\/a>.&#8221; \u00a0In this writing Dylan asserts:\u00a0\u201cThe apparently simple process of looking at student work and then giving useful feedback turns out to be much more difficult than most people imagine,\u201d \u00a0and I can&#8217;t disagree. \u00a0The three suggestions Mr. Wiliam has for teachers are useful, relevant, insightful and shifts the paradigm of who is doing the work (from teacher to student).<\/li>\n<li>Here is a STEM grant opportunity I was recently made aware of. \u00a0The deadline is not for a few months, but due to the winners being selected via &#8220;online votes through social media&#8221;
