[Reminder that Wednesday, June 21 is NOT an Early Release day.]<\/li>\n<li>District middle school SIW dates for 2017-18: 10\/18, 11\/29, 2\/28, 4\/25<\/li>\n<li>Admin breakfast: Friday, June 23 beginning at 7:30am at the Ed Center<\/li>\n<li>Admin Safety Training (required): Aug. 9 at Summit HS [This will also include training regarding our new student threat assessment process and a visitor management update)<\/li>\n<li>Leadership Academy (required): Aug. 10 in Sunriver [Don&#8217;t forget to invite your ICCLs. \u00a0More info to come regarding this day.]<\/li>\n<li>Take It Up training: Aug. 15 &amp; 16 at PCMS [You should have already signed up for this with a school team]<\/li>\n<li>Trauma Informed School Summit: Aug. 24 at Summit HS [Sign up in PD Place]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>This should not be new information to your registrars, but it may be to you: <strong>New Student Registration<\/strong> will be available to families at all of our schools (except magnet schools &#8211; REALMS) beginning June 26. \u00a0This would be a great way for parents to begin the registration process during the weeks that your offices are closed.<\/li>\n<li>If you have any sort of end of year staff communication still to send out, you may want to include the <strong>website for summer PD<\/strong>: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">bit.ly\/blspd<\/span>. \u00a0There are quite a few opportunities for staff already listed, and likely more will be added in the coming weeks.<\/li>\n<li>Speaking of which, here is one to highlight for you &#8211; and encourage you to pass along to your SPED and interventionists:\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Several options around the intervention programs on our district intervention matrix to support interventionists in rigorous implementation of these programs will be offered. \u00a0Additionally, a &#8220;Raising the Rigor&#8221; of interventions training during the week of Sept. 11 &#8211; 15 that Julie, Jenn and Lindsley will lead to discuss instructional enhancements to improve student achievement. \u00a0Sign ups are open now in PD Place.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>REMINDERS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are needing to <strong>hire for an ICCL position<\/strong>, you may want to refresh your memory (I needed too) regarding <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.bend.k12.or.us\/employee-info\/content\/instructional-coach-iccl\">the steps\/process to do so<\/a>. \u00a0Thanks to Robi for bringing this site to my attention!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THIS AND THAT: Important dates to know and get on your calendar: Last day with students is June 22 and it is an Early Release day.
