The Secure protocol replaced the term Lockout from the previous SRP protocols. The protocols to conduct a Secure have not changed from the Lockout protocols, only the terminology as Lockout and Lockdown were often confused as protocols. If you want to discuss a specific scenario, please contact Jennifer or Sean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-blue-color\">From High Desert ESD-Lauren Wood<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The HDESD is rolling out&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sharedfuturecoalition.org\/projects\/connect\/\"><strong>Connect Workshops<\/strong><\/a><strong>,<\/strong>&nbsp;a free 2-hour workshop designed for parents or guardians of 5<sup>th<\/sup>-12<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;graders, to equip them with the information, skills and coaching to have effective&nbsp;prevention&nbsp;conversations with their children around substance use. They have 12 virtual workshops which will take place in September \u2013 November (10 in English, 2 in Spanish). The protocol also states that, \u201cEach classroom in our schools will be provided with approved cleaning products by the custodial staff. \u201c&nbsp; We will keep providing equipment whether its spray solution and micro fiber in each classroom or cleaning stations with flat mops, solution to dip in, spray bottles and rags, or having both. This will provide your staff with the products to disinfect if needed in their classroom.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The custodial team will try their best with the resources available to go above their regular cleaning schedule and sanitize the high touch spots.
