It could something teachers consider discussing and working on today in preparation for conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n- Many families are planning to use student iPads for conferences. Students should practice signing into their Webex accounts at school before iPads are sent home for conferences. <\/li>- VERY IMPORTANT –<\/strong> Many classes have received the new generation 8<\/em> iPads this year. If a student has the newest iPad please ensure the device is updated to iOS 15. These generation 8 iPads must be updated to iOS 15 for optimal Webex audio performance. We have experienced dropped WebEx audio on new iPads running iOS 14. Remember, updates can take some time to download, and most times require the device to be plugged in. Plan ahead!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

Here is the flyer<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\nClassified Team members supervising classes:<\/strong> There may be situations in which a classified staff member is used to supervise a class<\/strong>. When this happens there are important things to remember:<\/p>\n\n\n\n- They are supervising the class, not teaching the class.<\/li>
- They should be introduced to the class by an administrator or licensed staff member as the someone who will be supervising the class. \u201cStudents, Mrs. Smith will be supervising you today while your teacher is gone. If you need assistance from her as you work on your assignments, please ask her.\u201d<\/em><\/li>
- An administrator or licensed staff member should check in with the classified staff member periodically during their supervision time.
- The classified staff member should not be asked to plan lessons or develop curriculum.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
