The BrightBytes survey window will open November 12th<\/sup> and close November 30th<\/sup><\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0 Our goal is 90% participation!<\/strong>\u00a0 Skip will be sending out directions for students and teachers in two separate emails next week.\u00a0 If you have any questions about how to administer this survey please let him know.\u00a0 Remember, this survey is used by Shay in his report to the board regarding our Future Ready board ends.<\/p>\n

SAVE THE DATE!\u00a0 <\/b>The Education Foundation for Bend-La Pine Schools announces the Classroom Grants timeline for K-12 educators for the 2019-2020 academic year<\/strong>.\u00a0 The grant process will open Monday, February 18, 2019<\/u> with a link to the online application form<\/strong>.\u00a0 Grant applications must\u00a0be submitted\u00a0no later than Friday, March 22, 2019.<\/u>\u00a0<\/strong> The grant application process is open to all educators in Bend, La Pine and Sunriver.\u00a0 Once determinations are made, funded grants will be awarded in May 2019.\u00a0 All educators will be sent additional communication with in December and January and the online link in February.\u00a0 Questions can be directed to Angie Cole<\/b>, Allocations Committee Chair at:\u00a0 acole@cocc.edu or (541) 318-3794\u00a0 OR Michelle Johnson,<\/b> Executive Director, Education Foundation at: classroomgrantapplications@gmail.com or (541) 355-5660.\u00a0 Requests for STEM, art, music & wellness projects will be accepted during the dates indicated and must\u00a0complete all necessary forms for consideration.\u00a0 In the 2018-2019 academic year, the Education Foundation funded over $89,000 in classroom grants — it’s highest award in 30 years of service to the K-12 educational community.\u00a0 To learn more, visit www.engagedminds.org<\/a><\/p>\n
