Work with Jon and me on these situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At our individual principal meetings this month we spoke of completing drafts of your <strong>School Design Plans<\/strong>.  Here are the templates for each of the &#8220;buckets&#8221;<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1VYAZYvyFYYWnE8VM-s_NRopQZaLsEjSK\/view?usp=sharing\"> Academic Excellence,\u00a0<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1vV1NOPWmPA9P7BIUbSvy0h6fDgFdAgnG\/view?usp=sharing\">Thriving Citizen<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1leJYt11pWQJq6TA4n9wsppoBGv8yCtjp\/view?usp=sharing\">Future Ready<\/a> along with the list of <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1OCRckz8BIdYacXWlcBZvfGTzQQ-w-pdU\/view?usp=sharing\">Future Ready Skills <\/a>for that goal.  A few of you still need to complete yours for your school.  We will look those over in February.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Have you scheduled your STUDENT SHADOW?  <\/strong>You have until Feb 1 to <em>Get Er Done <\/em>so the HS ADMIN TEAM can hit our 100% participation mark!  Here are the necessary docs you will need: a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/16ECgfvuby3GmUEjeDKzMyvi4BEspAuyN\/view?usp=sharing\">description of the parameters<\/a>\u00a0for participating, some\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1EdE37I_-AqUAhq5maTT2HeiAOmcXkW9z\/view?usp=sharing\">interview questions<\/a>, and a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/FuiGwT\">Google form for your reflections<\/a>.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Informational:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Friday, January 4<sup>th<\/sup>, the district sent a<a href=\"https:\/\/spark.adobe.com\/page\/MJ6ZvxVmkKW61\/\"> fire &amp; life safety message<\/a> in the <em>Staff Spotlight<\/em> to all staff, reminding them of several important practices. We want to emphasize two of these to all administrators:\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Staff should check for any blocked or impaired fire\/life safety \ndevices in their classrooms or workplaces. If they have any potential \nissues, these are to be reported to administrators and\/or staff \ncustodians. These issues should be addressed as quickly as possible.<\/li><li>It is a violation of the law to alter, remove, or tamper with any fire safety components.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DHS is in the process of implementing a statewide <strong>Child Abuse Hotline<\/strong> which will be completed in April 2019.  It started on November 1, 2018, in Deschutes, Jefferson and Crook Counties.  The reporting number has changed and it is  <strong>541-693-2854.<\/strong> Here are some informative points about this resource:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>They are working to correct some telephone line problems<\/li><li>There will be the ability for the caller to leave their return phone number in case they can\u2019t wait for someone to answer<\/li><li>They are in the process of hiring 75% additional staff to handle these calls!<\/li><li>They have implemented an email address for people to send concerns\/feedback to:\n<ul><li><strong><a href=\"mailto:feedback.oregonchildabusehotline@DHSOHA.state.or.us\">feedback.oregonchildabusehotline@DHSOHA.state.or.us<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dr. Ross Greene is coming to central Oregon<\/strong> on May  17, 2019.  He is a Clinical Psychologist who has authored several books, a documentary film, and an intervention model.
