{"id":953,"date":"2019-10-25T16:49:51","date_gmt":"2019-10-25T16:49:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/katie.legace\/?p=953"},"modified":"2019-10-25T19:50:18","modified_gmt":"2019-10-25T19:50:18","slug":"october-25-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/katie.legace\/2019\/10\/25\/october-25-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"October 25, 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This week I posted <strong>three new positions to support our work<\/strong> at the high school level:  a <strong>3.75 hours a day Alt Ed Assistant<\/strong> to assist Bob Metcalf in <strong>STRIVE<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1CWwR1AMR_G7OVIydnduCKHM7rW9rtB5i\/view?usp=sharing\">District School to Career Program Manager<\/a>, and a <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1Rw3R59QRsL3HKYOgoGTD4O-GGw4NHVV1\/view?usp=sharing\">Student Enrollment Specialist.<\/a>  All of these positions are classified and regular positions.  They will each be posted for 10 days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Master Scheduling Workshop is scheduled for this Thursday and Friday.  You will need this <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1rIYv0mXcikAZV-qzYi54-1rlaXMZRjYh\/view?usp=sharing\">WORKBOOK<\/a> during the training.  These folks have <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1uwqMtna8fUsUIsZlSXrJXgVGtpzVTwyx\/view?usp=sharing\">registered for the workshop<\/a> and there is still room if others would like to attend.  Please register through Performance Matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Here is a special note from <em>Garra:<\/em><\/strong>  <strong>Nutrition Services<\/strong> is planning to have our <strong>3<\/strong><sup><strong>rd<\/strong><\/sup><strong> Annual Veteran\u2019s Day promotion on Friday, November 8<\/strong><sup><strong>th<\/strong><\/sup>. We will again be honoring veterans who are family members of students and staff<strong> only.\u00a0 <\/strong>This year we\u2019re adding an additional recognition of the veterans in the form of a thank you note. During the Veteran\u2019s Day lunch, the kitchen staff will pass out the thank you cards to the veterans.\u00a0 If your school already does a celebration for veterans we would love to feed them just coordinate with the cafeteria.  The Menu will be: Homemade Meatloaf, mashed potatoes w\/ beef gravy, Caesar salad, and a flag cookie.
