Staffing:<\/strong> Please join me in congratulating Amy Michalski on her new role in the business office. Amy has been ready for a new challenge and this will be a great match for her! I will be posting our media manager position early this week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Report Card Comments:<\/strong> I apologize for the last-minute report card comments frustrations that some of you experienced. Thank you for rolling with this unexpected hurdle; hopefully, it will be fixed for the spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foundational Skills Adoption:<\/strong> As most of you know, BLS is currently working on a two-year language arts adoption process. Olivia, Shannon, and Kelle are all serving on this committee. By the end of this school year, we will have a K-5<\/span><\/strong> foundational skills adoption. Thank you to Olivia and Shannon for creating this poster with links<\/a> to keep you all informed of the work of this committee. I think several of you will find the listening sessions interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C19 Retroactive Leave (From HR): <\/strong>For staff submitting for retroactive COVID-19 credit, please do not send your school nurse the form for signature. The forms should be sent via district mail (not via email) to Tami Pike. Please include a copy of your submitted leave sheet. For more information, see the email from Paul Dean sent on January 28th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C19 Vaccination & Quarantine (From Tami Pike): <\/strong> A friendly reminder that if you are not \u201cup-to-date\u201d with your COVID-19 vaccinations (for most, that means being boosted if your initial vaccines were not in the last 5 months), you will be required to follow the quarantine protocol if you are identified as a close contact to a positive case. You do not need to quarantine if you have had a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis from a lab, health care provider, or health department in the last 19 days.
