No claims that any of these documents are perfect, but they might help get the creative juices going for your team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Siblings and families that need translators should be scheduled first. &nbsp;Jessica will be coordinating this over the next couple of weeks. &nbsp;THANK YOU, Jessica!!!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>We will schedule sibling conferences at our Monday, March 20th staff meeting. <\/strong>Please come to this meeting with an empty schedule (besides your conferences that require translators).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Out of courtesy to your colleagues, please do not schedule a sibling conference outside of our \u201csibling zone\u201d (Wed 3:30-7:30, Thur 11:30-7:30) without talking with the siblings\u2019 teachers first.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>UKG:<\/strong> As expected, we encountered some bumps in the road as we transition to UKG.&nbsp; This work has been a huge undertaking by the business office and by human resources and the staff in these departments are going above and beyond to address issues as they arise.&nbsp; Below are several UKG updates; <em>please take the time to read them carefully and take action as needed<\/em>. Thank you for approaching this transition to UKG with a positive attitude and a growth mindset. Our time and leave systems will be much stronger for everyone once we are past these first few bumps in the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>First Digital Submissions of Time\/Leave (From HR): <\/strong>Please remember that&nbsp;all BLS employees&nbsp;regardless of whether or not someone has had any time off or has had supplemental or secondary hours\/ jobs within the 2\/13 \u2013 3\/12 pay period&nbsp;must&nbsp;digitally submit their timesheet through UKG.&nbsp; Instructions on how to log and submit timesheets can be found (1) in UKG, under the Self-Service tab, or (2) within the Staff Portal on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/bendlapine.sharepoint.com\/SitePages\/UKG.aspx?CT=1663686232176&amp;OR=OWA-NT&amp;CID=914e28b4-8b7a-ccf5-d39e-ec18bda6e84d\"><strong>UKG Product Suite<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Timesheet submission and approval timeline:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All employees will have until 11:00pm Sunday night (March 12) to submit their timesheets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Office Managers\/timekeepers will then have until 11:00 pm on Monday (March 13) to finish the review &amp; corrections and then submit timesheets to supervisors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervisors will have until 11:00 pm Tuesday (March 14) to do the final approval&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payroll will be extracting data on Wednesday for processing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Frontline Absence Management\/Aesop Users (From HR):&nbsp;<\/strong>We\u2019ve encountered some difficulties in transferring absence data from Frontline to UKG.&nbsp; For this reason, your UKG timesheet may not accurately reflect your time off during this current pay period (2\/13 \u2013 3\/12). We will not be attempting to transfer data from Frontline to UKG until further notice as we troubleshoot this problem. You can track our progress by viewing the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/bendlapine.sharepoint.com\/SitePages\/UKG.aspx?CT=1663686232176&amp;OR=OWA-NT&amp;CID=914e28b4-8b7a-ccf5-d39e-ec18bda6e84d\">UKG Implementation Page<\/a>&nbsp;within the staff portal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you review your UKG timesheet in preparation for submitting it (on 3\/13), you\u2019ll need to seek assistance from your timekeeper\/office manager to correct your timesheet for missing or incorrect&nbsp;time-off&nbsp;entries.&nbsp; You can do this by emailing your timekeeper\/office manager with the list of time-off details (dates\/times\/absence reasons) that need to be corrected as only they have UKG permissions to make these changes (you do not). You still retain the ability to make UKG timesheet entries for additional hours worked for your secondary or supplemental jobs.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;We appreciate your support and patience as we continue to transition from paper to digital processing of time\/leave entries.&nbsp;Leah and Jason in the Business Department<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Updated Field Trip\/Activity Request Form (From Skip):<\/strong> An updated field trip form has been posted to the portal (form date 3\/2023). Please have staff members begin using this form&nbsp;immediately. As a reminder, nursing staff must be provided notice about the trip, in writing, at least 2 weeks prior. There is an area on the updated form for the requestor to provide the nurse\u2019s name and notification date and time. This section of the form&nbsp;<strong>must<\/strong>&nbsp;be completed in order for the trip to be approved.&nbsp;The field trip form can be found in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/bendlapine.sharepoint.com\/:f:\/r\/Resources\/Classroom\/Field%20Trips%20-%20Permission%20Forms?csf=1&amp;web=1&amp;e=sLQYNH\">&nbsp;<strong>Field Trips \u2013 Permission Forms folder<\/strong><\/a>  For any students requiring direct care nursing support, teachers must complete the Request for Direct Care Nursing Service&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1RP69xoYDBGRflsnCJwFaD-5EPheO-CcC\/view?usp=sharing\"><strong>Form<\/strong><\/a>.
