This means that you should stay away (and keep kids away) from that location, even if it means going outside to get to where you are going. This is to protect the privacy and dignity of the individual and to ensure that paramedics can get to where they are going without obstacles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>IT Help Desk Changes (From Scott McDonald):&nbsp;<\/strong>During Spring Break week (March 27-31), IT will be making some changes to the&nbsp;\u201celectronic\u201d&nbsp;web help desk ticket system (https:\/\/bls.fyi\/help). The most significant changes will be the category layout for creating new tickets. Our hope is that the enhanced ticket system will be clear and intuitive for everyone.&nbsp; If you wish to provide any feedback or have questions about the changes, please reach out to our \u201c<em>human\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;Help Desk at extension 1200.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>End-of-the-Year Dates (From Skip):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>June 16 \u2013 the last day of school for kids- remember this is an early release day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>June 14 \u2013 the last Wednesday of the year \u2013 this is NOT an early release day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>June 19 \u2013 this is a holiday<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>June 20 \u2013 this is the final work day of the year for teachers BUT if they complete all their end-of-the-year work and responsibilities and have everything \u201cchecked off\u201d by their administrator, then they do not have to report to work on this day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Educator Network Day Presenters (From Julie):<\/strong> Please share in your staff blogs \u2013 Educator Network Day is April 19th from 2:00-3:15- <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/T3EA5LLCMbsYMg7RA\">please sign up to facilitate a session<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Monday Committee Time:<\/strong>&nbsp;Our Monday meeting will be time for committees to meet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"focus-on-excellence-and-equity\">Focus on Excellence and Equity:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TLC Update:&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/elementary-curriculum-instruction\/2023\/03\/15\/march-15th-update\/\">Here is a link to the&nbsp;March 15 TLC Update<\/a>. There is an assurance form that we need to sign for the state confirming that all classrooms have taught the lessons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Spring Conferences:&nbsp;<\/strong>Please provide Nicole with a copy of your conference schedule. Thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>American Fidelity Dependent Verification:<\/strong> In accordance with Oregon Administrative Rule 111-080-0055, the Oregon Educator\u2019s Benefit Board (OEBB) requires employees of Bend-La Pine Schools to complete a dependent eligibility review every 5 years. This review helps to manage overall plan costs and ensure only eligible dependents are covered on the district\u2019s insurance. Bend-La Pine Schools has retained the services of American Fidelity to assist with the review.
