Greetings!
I hope you had a wonderful, fun packed weekend! I’m really looking forward to these next two weeks. We’ve been through a lot this past year and I am so proud of how we have managed to find joy every day, to be here for our students and families, and take of each other–we have a lot to celebrate as the year winds down. There’s a bright light shining at the end of the tunnel and I’m starting to feel it’s warmth…

A BIG Happy Birthday to Sara today (if you’re reading this Sunday it’s tomorrow).

A few notes for the week:<\/strong>
1) I’ll be sending out a full schedule for next week’s activities<\/strong>–stay tuned, it should be in your inbox by Wednesday.

2) I had a great meeting with a small group of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders to plan Community Time for Magic Mindy Monday. We have a few nice things planned!

3) Grade 2 interviews<\/strong> on Tuesday starting at 3pm in Ray’s room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) Community Time<\/strong> this week on Thursday and Friday at 1:30. Grade 2 on Thursday, Kinder on Friday

5) This will be the last week for Music and Art<\/strong>.

6) Please remember to have your classs gift for Grade 5<\/strong> ready for Graduation next Wednesday!

7) A few things regarding End of Year Celebrations <\/strong>(Grows and Glows):
*They are due before you leave for the summer–meaning you can finish them after school gets out if you want.
*Please remember we agreed that in the Additional Comments section you will be writing a short note directly to the child.
*Please let me know if you did not receive a link to your google folder from me. If you didn’t it may be in your junk or spam folder.

8) Earthquake and Fire Drill this week on Thursday at 10:45am<\/strong>. Apologies, but we still have to get these done for the month of June. We’ll announce the Earthquake drill and students will need to seek cover under their desks. We’ll keep this short and then activate the fire alarm. We should be done by lunch time.

9) We also need to do a Lock Out drill on Friday at 10:45am<\/strong>. This just means we lock all external doors, announce that we are in Lock Out, and it’s business as usual inside the building. During the lock out you are not allowed to leave the building. We’ll do this for 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June 17<\/strong>: Last day! 1pm dismissal
June 17<\/strong>: Staff gathering, 3:30pm
