Welcome to the last edition of the Monday AM Notes for the 2025-26 school year–we made it! Lots of fun happening this week, I’m looking forward to a great end to the year!

I know that if you are reading this on Monday morning it’s easy to skip parts–please be sure to read through this email completely before the day starts on Monday. Lots going on this week!

A few notes to get you rolling:<\/strong>
1) As a reminder, here’s the link to the Last 2 Weeks document<\/strong>-all the info you’ll need for this week: Last 2 Weeks<\/a>

2) Children’s Museum is here Monday morning<\/strong>:
8:10-9:00- Grade 4
9:05-9:55- Kinder and Grade 1
9:55-10:45- Grades 2 and 3

3) Julie Richards will be here after school today<\/strong> to assist with ordering some materials for next year. Let’s meet in Brian’s room at 2:30pm. After we meet with Julie I’d like about 10 minutes to touch base about a couple of things.

4) Please sign up for Tuesday’s Invitation Rotations<\/a><\/strong>
Times:
12:15-12:45-Round 1
12:45-1:00-Afternoon recess
1:05-1:35-Round 2(I’ll ring bell at end of this round)
1:35-2:05-Round 3

5) Please be sure to have your Grade 5 class gift <\/strong>ready to go by Wednesday morning!

6) Grade 5<\/strong> Family Graduation is Wednesday at 5pm<\/strong>, please arrive no later than 4:45pm. As usual, Ray will need help right after school hanging artwork around the gym–thanks in advance for helping out! It usually only takes a few minutes if everyone is helping.

7) I know you know, but just in case you forgot-Wednesday is a full day of school<\/strong>, Thursday is out at 12:45pm.

8) Kickball Thursday AM at 9am<\/strong>. I have coordinated with Cari to have some of our Running Club volunteers come to help out with supervision during the kickball game in hopes of alleviating some of our usual stress of trying to play and supervise at the same time. Remember to wear your kickball shirts!

9) My annual plea for Memory Book signing<\/strong> (Thursday): Please have a chat with your classes before they begin signing books and remind them about the sacredness of these books. Encourage them to write nice things to each other (or just sign their name) and to be considerate by not writing their name really big or in a place that the book owner doesn’t want them to (especially not on pictures). Also, let\u2019s keep the signing to Memory Books and not clothing and body parts.\u00a0 <\/strong>This generally is not a big issue but I have seen it enough that I’m writing this note, and last year we definitely had some of this going on. Please make this very clear. Thanks!

10) Technically Friday is a work day and is supposed to be a chance to finish reporting. Please remember that Glows and Grows have to be completed before you officially take off for the summer. You may work from home if you like (though selfishly I’d rather have you at school!). REMINDER<\/strong>: Once you are finished with your Grows and Glows please let me know so I can do a quick proof read. I trust that the content is good, I’m looking at formatting, pronouns, consistency, etc.

10) Let’s plan to meet at BBC on Thursday<\/strong> to have a libation together and celebrate the amazing year-2:30pm. Hoping a few folks may want to go a little earlier to get us a table.
